Sample Screens
This is the main screen. Here you have plants classified by their botanical names, with information
about plant family, geographical locations, common names from several languages, qualities,
Chinese equivalents where known, and uses of the plant according to multiple sources.
Many of the old botanical and pharmaceutical terms have become unfamiliar to us, so there is a
glossary of many of the terms used in the references.
Likewise, many of the old names for conditions and diseases have become archaic, so a glossary of these
terms is also included. Generally, a modern name for conditions is used in the main database.
This section of the database looks the most like Lee’s The Book of Rulerships. In fact, it began there,
but the number of references is more than double the original work. Like Lee’s early book, you have
full access to the sources, so you don’t have to wonder where the reference came from.
